Hoof Prints 4-H Club

Big Bay Farm is the home of Hoof Prints 4-H Club run by Paige Mechan and Cheryl Mechan.  Hoof Prints 4-H Club has a primary focus of Horse Management. Hoof Prints is a large and active 4-H Club. Throughout the year 4-H member’s work with a project animal to develop horse knowledge, horsemanship and handling skills, all while in a safe and fun environment.

The Hoof Prints 4-H Club is dedicated to making well-rounded individuals through community service, public speaking and record keeping all while learning about horses.

You can find the club at most county-wide 4-H events from Visual Presentations Day to the Marshfield Fair.

Anatomy & physiology of horses

Health & Safety of horses

First aid for horses

Common Diseases in horses

Barn Safety (including fire safety)

Handling Safety

Fitting and Showmanship
